Hestia is described as fun loving, alluring, but discreet. She likes to dress as a commoner and go out to party. She has a problem with drinking too much wine, and tends to get herself in trouble, much to the embarrassment of the crown. Hestia does not seem to care much for royal responsibility, and would instead rather live a life of decadence. Hestia and Arilos Sunshade were suspiciously close. This often caused drama with Tyrea, who had already claimed Arilos as her husband. Until Hestia poisoned him with his own love potions, Arilos has been her friend. He now hates and resents her.
Hestia remains troublesome to the crown, even to this day. She continues to shrink away from responsibility, and uses the Dawnwalker name purely for her own pleasure. Ahellion has often been troubled by Hestia's antics, and secretly believes Arilos had nothing to do with the affair, knowing how he felt about Tyrea.
