Asgarion Dawnwalker

As of the Hunting Hestia campaign, Asgarion is dead. He was murdered in Hestia's failed plot to overthrow the throne.

Asgarion is the final child of Ahellion and Veladriel, to date. Asgarion takes after his father, being a cunning tactician and capable fighter. He is very particular about his appearance, often wearing elaborate armor and weaponry. He has his father’s sarcastic sense of humor. However, what he is perhaps most known for, are his deadly instincts. His capabilities on the battlefield are as infamous as Ahellion’s. Ahellion is very proud of his son, and has named him heir to the throne after the death of Tyrea. Asgarion’s biggest hope in life is to be worthy of his name, and to make his father proud. His morality centers more on the side of good, but he has been known to make selfish decisions when it comes to protecting what is his. While his sisters mingle with many men, Asgarion is still awaiting a worthy woman.

Early in his life, Asgarion became infatuated with Ravielle Riversong. The two became very close, and with the consent of the crown, they began to let their friendship grow into something more. However, Ravielle has never wished to be queen of the sun elves, and has shrinked away from a relationship with Asgarion that could lead to a marriage.

Asgarion has only ever wanted Ravielle, but in recent times has come to accept that she will never be able to marry him, because of who she is. This has pained him for centuries. Time will tell if he will find another that he loves as much as Ravielle.

Upon Aster being named heir to the throne during the Drums of War campaign, Asgarion proposed to Ravielle and they had a few months together in Ilisara before they both died and were sent to the Afterlife. Ravielle was resurrected shortly after, but Asgarion was killed with a soulblade, and thus will remain in the Afterlife indefinitely.
