Orcs

Orcs are a tribal, warlike, and shamanistic race. In their ancient past, Isandor was a greater paradise than Hellan... until Mok'gram erupted. It caused the entire island’s ecosystem to be upheaved. No longer could the island support so many tribes. The tribes went to war and fought amongst themselves for survival for many long, bloody years.

At some point, the orcs banded together in a temporary truce and formed a blood pact. Supposedly, Arth, witnessing the pact, promised the orcs would survive on their desolate island so long as they made regular sacrifices to him. Many Orc Shamans make regular sacrifices to Arth, and can only dream of finding a worthy vessel to return Arth to this world.

Orcs all believe that the return of Arth will signal the end of the Confederacy, and allow for Orcs to take Hellan for themselves. Orc tribes still fight amongst themselves ritualistically, so as not to break the blood pact. All deaths in these ritualistic struggles are deemed as sacrifices to Arth.
