Paragon paths are for overhauls and custom rebalancing of the Ilisara system to achieve specific goals for characters. It was initially inspired by Victoria’s desire to have a ranger class where the ranger’s beast companion does almost all of the damage. Paragon paths have not been extensively tested and are worked out on a case-by-case basis with the DM. The paragon paths below may be used either as-is, or as templates for new Paragon Paths.
Paragon Path List
Beastmaster: A beastmaster feels more at home among the animals of nature than fellow sentient beings. Over time, these wanderers befriend a wide variety of animals, from mighty dire lions to tiny weasels. Eventually, one such animal becomes their bonded companion.
Druidic Shapeshifter: A druid who specializes in shapeshifting magic can take the form of many different beasts due to their innate connection to the natural world.
