(2) Spellthief - Arilos chooses a target and rolls an attack against their Magic Defense. If he is successful, he rolls a D20. If the result is 10 or higher, he can cast a copy of a Tier 2 or Tier 3 ability belonging to the target which automatically hits. If the result is 9 or lower, he can cast a copy of a Tier 3 ability belonging to the target. If the target does not have Tier abilities, it’s up to DM discretion what ability Arilos can copy, based on his roll. If he copies a melee ability, a magical version of the target’s weapon with no material modifiers performs the attack. If an ally is willing, Arilos can use their abilities without rolling against their magical defense.

== Tier 1 Abilities ==
 
 
=== Spellcaster ===
 
(1) Guardians of the Glade - Ravielle summons 3 spirit guardians to aid her allies. The spirit guardians are semi-transparent, ghostly figures. When Ravielle summons the spirits, she designates which ally the spirits are meant to guard, and they appear nearby that person. She can summon duplicates of the same guardian spirit. Ravielle must spend a Minor action to command a spirit to move to a new ally. Ravielle’s favorite spirits include:
 
 
Otter — The target receives 1d4 additional healing when they are healed by a spell or heal-over-time effect. The target can hold their breath for twice as long, and swim at a Fast speed underwater.
 
 
Bear — The target gains +2 to all Defense rolls. When the bear spirit first appears, all negative status conditions on the target are cleansed. All negative status conditions on the target are halved in duration while the bear spirit is present.
 
 
Eagle — The target gains +2 to all Attack rolls. The target rolls all Perception checks with advantage.
 
 
Panther — The target gains +2 to all Damage rolls. The target rolls all Stealth checks with advantage.
 
 
Stag — The target can mount the stag as a minor action. The stag is a Fast mount, obeys its designated ally’s commands to move, and is immune to negative status conditions that would slow its speed.
 
 
Spirits count as Conjurations, and follow the rules for Conjurations.

Befriend - Out of Combat Only. Replaces Tier 1 ability. Roll a d20 and add your Charisma modifier (10) to charm the target. If successful against a DC set by the DM (rec 15), the target treats Arilos as a trusted friend for 1d4 hours. It truthfully answers all questions that Arilos asks and aids Arilos in any way it can as long as doing so does not risk its life or property. While the target is under this effect, Arilos gains a +5 power bonus to Charisma checks against it.
 
 
This effect ends if the user or any of the user's allies attacks the target or any of its allies. Afterward, the target does not realize that Arilos used this power on it. Only one target can be Befriended at a time.
 
 
If unsuccessful, Arilos takes psychic damage equal to twice his Charisma modifier (20), and the target is unaware he attempted to charm them. If Arilos reaches 0 HP from this effect, he falls unconscious but is not considered dying.
 
 
----
 
 
(1) Rapture - (AOE Damage) Deals maximum basic attack damage to all nearby enemies, and Veladriel regenerates 2 health at the start of each of her turns. If this attack kills one or more evil or chaotic evil creatures, roll a d20. On a roll of 10 or higher, you can use this power again during this encounter. The regenerating effect does not stack.
 
 
=== Noncaster ===
 
 
Killing Spree (1) Roll a d8, the result is the number of targets you can hit with this attack. Dash to the number of targets, and do a max-damage basic attack against each of them. Ahellion can move at his movement speed for each dash.

Warbreaker (1): All damage done to all enemies increased by 2 until the end of the encounter. Deals maximum weapon damage to four targets within a reasonable range. Limit one per encounter.
