Of the many branches of Vestia's military, their navy is considered to be the most impressive. Vestia has access to more shoreline than any other major power, outside of the Orcish Warlords. Their navy alone could decimate the Orcish Warlord's naval forces. This fact alone has kept the Orcish Warlords restricted to ground wars.
Deployment
The Vestian Navy is concentrated in two major areas. The first area is the northern peninsula of Hellan, and the waters around Vestia, and the second area is near the port of Arelas. The port of Arelas is considered a forward deployment location, and serves as the first and last line of defense for southern Hellan against the Orcish Warlords.
Aftermath of the Border War
After the attack in southern Hellan, much of the Vestian Navy remained intact, and was able to siege ground forces attacking Arelas safely from sea. This has lead to elvish military supremacy at the border, and at sea.
