Esk's Tears, more commonly known as legendary gemstones, are some of the most powerfully concentrated sources of magic in Ilisara. Containing the literal essence of the god of magic, many of them grant abilities that are incredibly powerful. Some have even been considered weapons of mass destruction.
A madman once scribbled text in the great library of Vestia about these gemstones. He died of a seizure shortly after. What follows are the loosely translated version of his text.
U N D R E A M I N G
Ultimar - The legendary gemstone of the orcs. Said to have granted the wielder invincibility. Considered destroyed by most scholars and the cause of the first eruption of Mok'gram.
Neptulos - The legendary gemstone of the ocean. Said to have granted the wielder control of all water.
Dredilar - The legendary gemstone of the wasteland. Said to have given the wielder the ability to see the future.
Ren’tik - The legendary gemstone of the sky. Said to have granted the wielder the ability to fly at super-sonic speeds.
Eredis - The legendary gemstone of the forest. Said to have granted the wielder the ability to mend any wound, no matter how grave.
Ansil - The legendary gemstone of the forge. Said to have granted the wielder the ability to shape metal to their will.
Mithrus - The legendary gemstone of the dwarves. Said to have granted the wielder the ability to control the earth, and it’s shapes.
Ilterendi - The legendary gemstone of the elves. Said to have granted the wielder the ability to control and conjure fire of immense magnitude.
Neral - The gemstone of death. Said to be able to allow the wielder to speak to the dead in the afterlife.
Genar - The gemstone of ice. Said to have given the wielder the ability to freeze anything, and conjure ice at will.
